Showing Appreciation by Giving Back

The holidays are right around the corner and this holiday season is likely to feel different from years past. As many of our clients are still working from home, helping to ‘flatten the curve’, the Geotech and Gregg team decided to adjust our annual client appreciation, to help charitable organizations that have undoubtedly felt economic impact throughout this year.

In lieu of sending out our Holiday appreciation baskets, our team identified four charitable organizations to which we donated on behalf of our 2020 clients.

This year Geotech, Gregg, and all our valuable clients donated over $10,000 to these amazing charities who work throughout British Columbia’s communities.

BC Cancer Foundation
BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer. Every dollar raised by the foundation stays  at BC Cancer to advance research and innovations to care for the people of BC.

Mining for Miracles, in support of the BC Children’s Hospital
Mining for Miracles is the BC mining community’s longstanding fundraising campaign in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Every year volunteers from the mining community work together through Mining for Miracles to help improve the quality of health care for children in our province.

Pacific Autism Family Network Foundation
The Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) is a center of excellence and network of supports for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families across the province. The PAFN’s core purpose is to be a Knowledge Centre: Bringing together state of the art resources for research, information, learning, assessment, treatment and support; and building capacity to address the lifespan needs of individuals with ASD and related disorders.

Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation
The Foundation works collaboratively with its Donors, Healthcare Partners and within the parameters of what is needed through the Northern Health Authority.  It focuses on the Northern Region as a whole and the area served by the University Hospital of Northern BC, along with over 130 other facilities throughout the three service delivery areas of the Northern Interior (Prince George), Northwest (Terrace) and the Northeast (Fort St. John) and many destinations in between.
