Geotech is a multi-discipline surface drilling company that is active in the exploration, geotechnical and construction drilling markets with completion of projects in West Africa, Canada, the United States, South America, and Greenland. Clients include all sizes of mining companies, governments, and engineering firms. Drilling is conducted using skid mount, trailer mount, helicopter-portable and track mounted rigs capable of core drilling (P/H/N/B), reverse circulation, rotary air blast, auguring and mud rotary techniques.
The company has experienced high level growth and development throughout the past decade, including the expansion into large scale logistical drilling operations and international markets. In 2015 Geotech expanded operations into West Africa, including multiple skid and trailer mount drills and the establishment of an office in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. A full staff of managers, H&S officers and accountants currently work out of this office to support multiple drill programs in the area.
Geotech was founded in 1995 and has positioned itself to provide industry leading drilling services by controlling its main competitive advantages: ensuring a safe working environment, specialized equipment, long standing relationships with its clients, and access to skilled personnel. Over the past decade, Geotech has achieved strong growth while remaining focused on the long-term objectives of building a solid safety conscious company for the future. Geotech’s efforts in safe production have earned them the Safe Day Everyday Gold Award for 2014 and the David Barr Award for leadership and innovation in mineral exploration health and safety; both awards presented by the Association of Mineral Exploration BC and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
Geotech has a strong focus on working with local organizations and the local workforce within West Africa to ensure its objective of safe production is met throughout all international programs.
