Accountant Payable Clerk- Prince George

Geotech is looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! The position is available again due to an internal promotion! Must be a self-starter who takes initiative in their day to day schedule. This dynamic role involves working closely with the accounting team of 6 to successfully handle everything from data entry to full cycle accounts payable. You will be involved in posting, processing cheques and liaising with vendors in regards to invoicing.  It requires an individual with ambition and the confidence to manage the workload of an ever-changing project based group of companies.

Qualifications required:

Heavy Duty Mechanic- Prince George, BC

Job Duties:

  • Perform repair and maintenance on diesel engines, electronic systems and hydraulic units of heavy equipment
  • Inspect and test to detect faults and malfunctions in drill units, diesel compressors, hydraulic support equipment, high pressure water pumps
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on heavy equipment
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems

Job Requirements:

Geotech Drilling is looking for an experienced HD Mechanic to fill a hybrid role that will be based at our shop in Delta, BC but also work a rotation up at a long standing exploration program in Nunavut. Competitive wages and a flexible schedule offered. This dynamic position will also support our Lower Mainland operations with a variety of equipment repairs in a large fully equipped shop.  All travel and camp costs covered while on rotation in NU.

Candidates must have experience or ability to:

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, and hydraulic units;

• Periodically able to go to the field and review and repair equipment as needed.

Applicants must have:

You must be a motivated self-starter with a passion for computer systems and their function within a dynamic organization. IT/Professional Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist in administering Geotech’s day-day Information Technology requirements.
  • Identify technical efficiencies within the organization and work with appropriate stake holders to implement efficiencies.
  • Preserves assets by assisting in implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and Information Security and control structures.
  • Assist in managing Geotech’s servers, networks and provide technical recommendations so Geotech is current and business performance improves.
  • Work with IT Consultant to negotiate with third-party service providers, such as IT equipment, software, mobile phones, phone system providers, and ISP’s to manage costs for the benefit of Geotech.
  • Assist in managing and developing field data collection strategies (i.e. time sheets, day sheets, etc.).
  • Assist in maintaining compliance for Software License Agreements.
  • Assist in maintaining program-specific software agreements specifically designated for individuals.
  • Assist in maintaining and keeping inventory of hardware and software for all staff and personnel.
  • Assist in procuring, managing and setting up IT related equipment (hardware, software, peripherals, operating systems, networks, etc.), across the Geotech group of companies.
  • Help support and troubleshoot IT related challenges across the Geotech group of companies.
  • Provide after-hours IT support for staff and IT related projects as needed.

Qualifications:
