AIR ROTARY DRILLERS: Northern BC
Geotech Drilling Services is seeking experienced “Deep Hole” Air Rotary Drillers with coal exploration experience.
Qualifications:
- 305 m (1000’) + drilling depth experience
- 2.5” to 3.5” drill rod – down the hole hammer experience
- Coal Exploration experience would be beneficial
- Air Rotary Experience a must
- Top head drive drill rig experience required
Applicatnts must hold valid Class 5 Driver’s licence; and familiarity with remote field and winter time conditions are considered assets.

FIELD MECHANIC/ HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR: Prince George
Geotech Drilling Services is seeking an experienced, full-time, and seasonal Field Mechanic /Heavy Equipment Operator to competently and safely operate dozer and repair heavy duty equipment; and maintain, troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, compressors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the field. In addition, the successful candidate must be physically capable of performing regular lifts, supporting project team members, and work out-doors.

PROFESSIONAL DRIVER: Prince George
Geotech is seeking an hourly Professional Driver with a flexible schedule (i.e., Available on short notice and 24 hrs. / 7 days per week), self –organized, and possesses physical/ mechanical abilities to safely operate a commercial vehicle throughout western and northern Canada, and periodically to the US.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Class 1 licence.
- 3 - 5 years of on/off highway, low-bed, and all-weather experience.
- Clean driving abstract.
- Mechanical abilities.
- Passport and eligible to travel to the US.

DETAILER: Prince George
Geotech is seeking a fulltime hourly Detailer with initiative; attention to detail, and physical/ mechanical abilities to support busy Fleet environment.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean vehicles, rental equipment, and work area.
- Complete checklists and reports to ensure all operating components for fleet and rental equipment has not been damaged or altered during the trip(s).
- Coordinate fleet and rental equipment repairs of any minor damage using fleet and rental vehicles as per rental company’s rental requirement and guidelines.
The successful candidate must have a meticulous eye for detail, administrative and organizational experience, vehicle repair and cleaning; experience working in an all-weather work environments; Class 5 drivers’ licence; and positive attitude; .

DRILLER ASSISTANTS: WESTERN AND NORTHERN CANADA
Geotech is currently seeking Driller Assistants for our Prince George or Vernon offices.
As a minimum applicants must:
- Possess at least a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Physically capable of regular and repetitive lifts
- Experience working in remote and/ or varied weather conditions
- Sub-arctic work experience is considered an asset
